The Sorrow Sea Scrolls

The Sorrow Sea Scrolls are a recovered set of ancient Elvish scrolls recovered from a diving expedition in the The Sorrow Sea of the south-western coast of Circadia by the famed magician, inventor, settler of Ravensgarde, and explorer Orville Grundwall.

While the artifact is called the Sorrow Sea Scrolls, it is not a 'scroll' as the modern world of Gredion would see it, rather it is made of a unduplicatable glass-like material that mimics the bendability of cloth or canvas, yet retains a certain hardness and slight transparency.

Purpose

The purpose of the scrolls is widely debated by scholars, historians and magicians as the langauge presented on the tablet is of what is believed either an ancient Elvish script, or a script of ancient gods.
