Archer
Archer's parents owned a very productive farm and ranch. His father has employees, vast amounts of land, and two houses, one of which they often rent out to travelers and mercenaries. He grew up riding horses, feeding chickens, and canning vegetables with his mom.
His sister Atalanta was four years older and he adored her. He'd follow her to church and annoy her friends by insisting they let him tag along and he wasn't ashamed of it.
They were both homeschooled so they could help out around the farm as needed but they got a pretty good education. Nothing outstanding but adequate.
When Archer was thirteen, and Atalanta seventeen, she went missing for several days. Search parties eventually found her dead, her body washed up a few miles outside of town. The cause of death was determined to be sexual assault and murder. The perpetrator, a local teen who had asked her out and been rejected several times was given the death penalty.
This led to a downward spiral for Archer. Greaving and angry he was starting to develop behavior issues that his parents could not manage to stamp out of him. He stopped talking about her, not necessarily pretending she'd never existed as there were photos all over the house, but just not acknowledging her absence. He learned how to fight just by getting in scuffles with anyone he could find and teaching himself how to win them.
He fell in love with cars at fourteen, the first time he ever managed to push one past eighty miles an hour. At seventeen, the legal driving age he worked constantly at his dad's farm until he was able to afford to buy himself one. Then he got a job at the local auto repair shop to learn how to make it better. By the time he turned eighteen, he could push it over 100mph with ease and drove it often enough that he felt safe doing so.
This caused even more problems at home as he often was escorted home by a police officer for 'reckless driving, breaking speed limits, and racing. Since he never managed to hurt anyone they didn't take his license away but it caused several domestic arguments.
The moment he could do so Archer moved out of his parents' house. By this point tired of feeding chickens and fighting with goats all the time, and even more tired of arguing with his parents.
He moved to Central City , where he discovered motorcycles and fell in love all over again. At that time illegal street racing was practically a sport and he threw himself in wholeheartedly. Winning often enough (as well as failing to get caught and not needing to resort to bribery) he earned enough money for Nano Armor technology. At that time still a bit of a risk but in his mind entirely worth it. He spent so much time behind the wheel wreaking was hardly a factor, mostly he just didn't want to have to wear a helmet.
It helped when he got into bar fights as well.
Archer gained a reputation for vehicular misdemeanors and crimes, but always managed to outrun any actual police pursuit. On one of these police chases his reckless speed caused another driver to panic resulting in a collision involving over a dozen vehicles and several deaths. And finally, he surrendered to police custody.
He, as well as the legal system, went back and forth over who was genuinely at fault for the terrible accident. The driver who had panicked had caused the accident by failing to keep control, and Archer hadn't actually been a danger to him. The driver died in the accident. This incident is quoted as the reason personally owned vehicles aren't allowed in Central City anymore, though in reality, it had been a long time coming.
He was found innocent of murder but guilty of a whole list of other things.
He was also found by Dante . In exchange for his help, Dante got him off on minor charges, possibly saving his life as murder is punishable only by death. He needed someone to drive him on a mission. Once there Archer was forced to stick around and help out. By the end, the two had saved a town and Archer was also a hero.
Inspired and still feeling guilty Archer joined the military not long after rising the ranks quickly and making a name for himself as one of the few pure melee combatants due to his nano armor and his absolutely dreadful aim. Making him a veteran of the War of Freedom
He and King only ever crossed paths a few times and the latter has very little interest in him beyond being one of the few others who have undergone Nano armor surgery.

General Physical Condition
Very healthy and looks significantly younger than he is due to the Nano Armor. It is incredibly difficult to damage him physically and is highly resistant to disease and viruses.

Streatching, nano armor and the extra weight it adds is tough on the body so he streaches a lot.

Nano armor and very strong. Resonablly fast considering his weight, but it's not his strong suit.

Tends to wear road leathers and kevlars. Though he doesn't need the extra protection he just likes the way they look. Possibly has piercings from before he got the armor, but can't get anything new. He regrets not getting a tattoo before the armor as he can't do it now.

Knuckle weaponry. He doesn't use guns because his aim is awful.
