The Gold Road Pass

Once, between the wild green forests of Cormanthor Forest and the prosperous hazards of The Gold Road, lay The Gold Road Pass. This was the narrow chokepoint that allowed Ordulin to become a wealthy trade city.
However, it was upon this narrow chokepoint that the Army of Darkness crashed. The people of Sembia only narrowly managed to claim victory over the abyss of defeat.
Combined with the new found wealth of The Castore Family, the Gold Road Pass no longer lives up to its reputation. Crime rises, poverty blooms, and the locals flee south.

Ordulin

Ordulin was once the hub of all trade to and from Sembia, the first step on the Gold Road to the West, and the gateway to goods from Shalendar. However, the rise of the Army of Darkness and the Whispering War led to the city's near-complete razing. It was only the intervention by the armies of Selgaunt and Exaltia that saved the city. Today, much of the city remains destroyed, and refugees from Shalendar now live in shantytowns outside the city walls.

Eastport

Ordulin used to be the trade capital of Sembia, wanting only for access to the sea. Eastport was once a prosperous tributary - it handled any sea-trade that the city could chance. After the fall of Ordulin, the city has fallen to ruin, with large swaths now inhabited exclusively by criminal organization. Today, most sea voyages begin in Selgaunt, though the few willing to risk the trip out here can find passage if needed.

Nortgarde

The small town of Nortgarde was hastily constructed into a fortress in response to the Whispering War. This was funded primarily by House Castore of Selguant.
