Encouraged by their friend, Rio Fang, the two set out to sea, inspired by the Moon Legend of Dimas. They soon were found and attacked by the Death's Door Pirates, who killed Caul. In a moment of desperation, Luca asked the pirates to bring Caul back to life, and allow them to join their crew. Rotting Man agreed, makign the two into his courier's. The two traveled around the New World, collecting tributes for the Emperor, and bringing new land's into their territories.

Luca is a pansexual Dima woman. She was born on Dimas, was raised there, and was trained to be a Royal Knight of Dimas. She was a member of the Death's Door Pirates, as their courier, traveling throughout the New World getting tributes for her previous crew. However, her and her brother were forced to join the Death's Door Pirates, with her brother's life on contract. Lucara has dark fur, with white "shawl-like" fur wrapped fully around her neck, she has large ridged bat ears, and large wings that are folded around her arms that give the appearance of bell sleeves.
