Baron Artrin Chipigdon (Ar-trin Chip-ig-don)
Guild Master of Watercrest (a.k.a. Overseer of the Port)
Arguably the second most powerful person in Shonesone. Baron Artrin doesn't live in a fancy castle and doesn't pay heed to much of the politics that the Kingdom busies itself with. Politics is bad for business. At least that is the offical statement of the Seafoam Green clad members of Watercrest.
Baron Artrin rules from his office in the Watercrest Guild Hall located at the heart of the Port of Chipigdon where he personally oversees the various ledgers of goods flowing in and out of the country from the sea. The incoming spices from the far off Berham to the outgoing Gold from Shonesone's own Trewichian Mines.
The citizens of the Chipigdon Barony live comfortable, if not simple lives, far away from the trouble and bureaucracy of the capital. The vast majority of Baron Artrin's citizens live within the bustling tundra bordering port of Chipigdon, the second largest city in the barony is the walled river front grand market of Walmond where most of the goods coming and going from Shonesone are stored and bartered for delivery throughout the eastern side of the continent, far to the south of Walmond through the taiga and along the grasslands sits Hikham. A simple farming community that produces most of the food for Walmond and Chipigdon. Many of it's residents often vie for the illustrious seats on the caravan north to the "big cities" to see the exotic bazaars and spices of Walmond and the large galleons and fish in Chipigdon.
