Saposi
Deep in the jungle, to the west of the Great Lake, you will find a curious little village by the name of Saposi. Beastfolk of all types make their home on Alba, but it is unusual for them to intermingle as they do here. Gorillafolk are the most numerous, but they only make up about 30% of the population. The remainder comprises birdfolk, snakefolk, leopardfolk, elephantfolk, spiderfolk, iguanafolk, and even a few tigerfolk.
As the rumor goes, Saposi was founded some hundred years ago by a group of gorillafolk exiled from their tribe, and to this day they remain open to outsiders regardless of background. Most residents were born and raised in the village, but many are newcomers. There is only one universal taboo in Saposi: asking personal questions. If you wish to inquire on the well-being of a resident, you might say, "I hope you're doing well," but never "How are you doing?"
