The Layflower
For those seeking a night of fine entertainment with a... pleasing conclusion, look no further than The Layflower - Engka's only (legal) brothel. Or, as they would put it, "traditional personal entertainment." Brothels are technically banned in Engka, but a Historic and Cultural Heritage loophole allows The Layflower to keep functioning - they have been in business for seven hundred years. It helps, of course, that half the city council pay visits here.
Once inside, visitors are greeted with a plethora of women from all races and backgrounds lounging about the entrance room. Pick one, and you are escorted to a private booth for a night of, ahem, traditional personal entertainment. This varies from girl to girl - some sing or play instruments; some recite poetry or engage in witty debates; others may paint portraits on demand, or have some other shareable talent.
Architecture
The Layflower's architecture and decor can be summed up as "overstated opulence," and borders on gaudy. Polished marble floors, thrasa timbers, and heavy red velvet curtains adorn the interior.
