The Dirty Rat Tavern
As unappealing as it may sound, The Dirty Rat Tavern houses the finest ale in Engka, which is no small compliment. Tourists and locals alike flock to the unassuming building located just off the main street. It is bigger on the inside, thanks to the magic of its retired wizard owner, Elhurth Strongfall, and expands slightly with each patron that passes through its doors. Here you'll find good ale, good company, and terrible, overpriced food - a byproduct of Engka's liquor laws, which only issue licenses to establishments which serve food also. Rather than hire a cook, Elhurth decided to make the food as unappealing as possible so no one would order it.
