Duchy of Karhaven
The Duchy of Karhaven is one of the three duchies that comprise the Kingdom of Navara. Starting as a small lordship over an insignificant miners village, the discovery of Gold in the area's hills made it rise to prominence, eventually becoming the wealthiest duchy in Navara. The two most famous dukes of Karhaven are Eamon Verhill, who conquered most of the northern Roxmore from the Duke of Drawneald, and Areyus Verhill, who suffered a prolonged and agonizing death for betraying Kairoz the Andorian.
