Decimator - Class Cruiser
Heavy cruiser of the Hyperion Federation. Slow, but is heavily armed and armoured. As such, they are often used to give a punch to Federation forces and as breakthrough ships.
The Decimator - Class has been in service since only a few years after the Boson - Class Destroyer, which is the oldest ship still in service. The Decimator still performs its role of providing Hyperion starship forces with a heavy but relatively fast punch efficiently. It is faster than o ther options that provide heavy fire support.
Power Generation
As with all Federation military ships, Decimators are powered primarily with Antimatter Annihilation Cores. However, they also have Zero-point energy reactors as a backup power source.
