Haklaran Forest

A large, petrified forest located on the eastern side of Jeskuar, a contineint of Tebburus.
The Haklaran forest was dated at several million years old, and is by far the largest petrified forest that exists on the planet. A huge mass of magnetic monopoles can be extracted from the petrified woods, but that would damage an excellent oppurtunity to study the exotic life on Tebburus. Despite this there exists a small monopole extraction operation that is largely limited by the United Nations of Tebburus and Hyperion Ethics Committee. As there is a volcano nearby, it is commonly thought that the volcano erupting has caused the entire area nearby to be submerged in ash and led to petrificaiton. A number of prehistoric species have been uncovered, but no Suons have been found. It is thought that this happened before the suon species was engineered.
Currently, there is a living forest with the same name growing above the petrified forest - now growing on strong rock. Currently, the petrified forest is about 200m deep underground. There is now little risk of he volcano erupting again as it has become extremely dormant. There are also a number of large floating islands, which have also been dated at a similar time. This implies they were formed when the volcano erupted, so some believe that it erupted due to an energised Aetherium buildup in the mantle, and caused the volcano to spray massive shards of aetherium over the area, causing floating islands eventually. However, none of this has been conclusively confirmed.
