Hanlarin
A very hot planet located in the Virtans System.
It has been mined by the Republic of Vanadia many times through history. It used to be rich in various metal ores, but now serves as a Planck-Dismantlement Beam target. As such, Hanlarin is now smaller than it used to be when the Vanadians first achieved space flight, with the entire crust turned into usable energy.
It is now little more than a thick ball of magma with a metallic core.
This planet was deemed to be entirely featureless up until the point where HF started planck-dismantling it, and otherwise entirely useless. Now that the surface of the mantle is exposed, it has become more useful as a site to experiment with other planets which might be in a similar situation. These assets are carefully avoided by the planck-dismantlement beams as to not be liquified. Due to these efforts and extensive risk assessments, only 4 people have died on this planet in history. Hanlarin also had a strong magnetosphere which has now been mostly destroyed by the planck-dismantlement and core mining operations. Unlike core mining on other worlds, they are not careful here as they do not require the planet to retain its magnetosphere.
