Ugunuog Ravager

The Ugunuog Ravager was one particular Ugunuog that was infected with the Reanimation Fungus.
The fungus was of a particularly agressive strain and completely took over its host. It caused the host to grow very thick armour and was able to eat almost all biomass. Despite this happening during the earliy Industrial Era of the Tebburus Unification War, the Ravager managed to destroy an entire Suon town, having eaten several hundred of the inhabitants and survived. The Reanimation Fungus sped up its metabolism allowing it to use more energy more rapidly but causing it to require more food. The Wildlife Defence Agency(WDA) soon prioritised killing it before it kills even more suons. To get enough firepower to harm it, they had to use a Taidakic Field airship and use its very powerful main cannons. This brought the Ravager to its knees, but the WDA knew it was far from finished as it was infacted with the Reanimation Fungus. The only way they could be sure was to airdrop to its corpse and place explosives inside, detonating it from the inside. The nearby area was then disinfected.
This event has caused the entire planetary population to be more paranoid of events like this, so the WDA equips most of its forces to deal with farious forms of reanimation fungus. It has become fairly culturally important, the modern United Nations of Tebburus has a date dedicated to the memory of the Ravager. Although this isnt a day off, it is intended to be in memory of those who have been killed by it.
