tyrant guard

Qualifications

To become a tyrant guard, you need 10 years of service in one of the shields, a rank above high-captain , and at least 8 badges for above expected results

Requirements

Each member must be at least 30 years of age and a citizen of the northern bulwark.

Appointment

Each tyrant guard is given their rank by the northern tyrant themselves. during this, the canidate will carve the shapes of the runes in their armor, and help construct the false information given to the kingdom about their whereabouts.

Duties

Their primary duty is to guard the northern tyrant all costs. However, they are sent for any mission the northern tyrant needs done quickly, from holding a settlement, protecting a lower noble, to even guarding caravans

Responsibilities

They are tasked with patrolling the fortess they are in everyday, checking all their equipment and runes, and getting it maintenanced when needed

Benefits

all members get complete political protection during their service. As well, they will get almost all their expenses paid, and are given all the equipment and items needed for their missions. After retirment, they are given hefty benefits that while lesser to the ones given during service, will help them live life comfortably after.

Accoutrements & Equipment

All tyrant guard are expected to wear their armor and have their gear on them at all times besides sleeping.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

a tyrant guard may be honorably dismissed if they get physical or mental issues that prevent them from their duty, where they will get all the benefits as if they served all 30 years, the knight commander judges this. They may be dishonorably discharged if they commit treason or break the rules given to them by the northern tyrant. only the northern tyrant may give this order

Cultural Significance

They are judged in their own culture as the apex of a warrior, something all the soldiers inspire to one day join. Outside their culture, they are viewed with wary resepect for their strength, or judged as bloodthirsty monsters.

The tyrant guard are given authority by the northern tyrant and northern tyrant alone

Length of Term

each tour of service lasts for 30 years, or until death, whichever comes first. After those 30 years, the member will retire to live peacefullt with many benefits for their service, or go into active service in another part of the military
