Bastien Remy is the Lord Viscount of the City of Dunmor in the County of Dunmor, located in the western region of the Kingdom of Aria. He was appointed Lord Viscount of the City by Count Ranald Dechateone.
Bastien is a stern, purposeful leader that has provided the city with a safe, low crime environment at the cost of fairly steep taxes. City Guards are numerous, attentive and quite costly to the common man. Only Guardsmen are allowed to wear swords within the city walls, with residents limited to belt knives or very small clubs to defend themselves with. Bastien's popularity with his fellow city dwellers is dependant on who is asked. The wealthy feel safe and secure within the heavily guarded city walls, but the poorer folks of the town struggle under the significant tax burden Remy has forced on them for so many years.
