Noble House of Ahmi

The great House of Ahmi was founded by Lenis Ahm, a close friend and ally of Benn Ohn, the first King of a united Imesse.  Lenis was instrumental in completing the conquest of Imesse when he almost single-handedly surmounted the defenses of the city-state of Len Doa and led his army through the gates to sack the city.  With that one victory, hundreds of square miles of hostile territory laid down their swords and surrendered to Benn Ohn.   Lenis' son, Loris am Ahmi, died before his father but his son Loran am Ahmi became the next Duke of Len Doa while his second son, Landon am Ahmi became the first Duke of Ben Doa, creating the two branches of the mighty House Ahmi.   The Ahmi family still rules both duchies even today, but it is the Loran branch that rules both now, as the Landon branch died out in 209 AF with the death of Hamlin am Ahmi.  Since the Loran branch of the House survived, the House is governed by the current Duke of Len Doa, Landan am Ahmi.
