Redfield Brewing
Redfield Brewery is a very large and very profitable brewery business located in the Town of Redfield and it is owned by the Mayor of Redfield, Sara Brewster.
Redfield produces some of the finest beers, ales, stouts and ciders available in Cobal and its kegs are shipped across the country and even to other countries. In addition to the brewery, Redfield operates two cooperages, several barley and hop farms and a large wagon building shop to facilitate distribution of its fine products.
Structure
Owned by the Mayor, Sara Brewster, the brewery is a huge operation, producing nearly 5,000 barrels of product every year and employing over 100 people.
Assets
The Redfield Brewery operates from a large three-story building and a huge warehouse within the city walls of Redfield. It also operates a cooperage next door, as well as another cooperage just outside the gates, two barley farms and a hops plantation, and it has a very large and busy wagon shop that produces and maintains all the Brewery's freight needs.
Redfield Brewery also has extensive contacts, both mercantile and political, both across Cobal and internationally. It has offices in Lesser Imesse, Aria, Fangort and even Naru. It has very close associations with the Clan Blackbeard and the Clan Redfist Dwarves, as well as with many of the Baronies of Imesse along the Caldar River.
History
The brewery was started by Sara's grandfather more than 50 years ago. Her father struggled to keep the small operation going after his wife was tragically killed, and only Sara's help kept the operation alive. After his passing, Sara built up the business to its current status.
