Ughat Toshbuzzutu

Ughat of the Toshbuzzut was the war chief and leader of the Toshbuzzut Invasion of the Kingdom of Aria in 107 AF. Ughat led more than 120,000 Orcs out of the Arak Mountains and into southern Aria with the intention of killing every Human, Dwarf, Halfling, Elf and Gnome they encountered.   Ughat was a massively powerful Orc, with some eye witness accounts describing him as more than 8' tall and unbelievably strong.  He is universally described as very tall, hairless and green-skinned.  He wore no armor, carried no shield and wielded a spade-shaped mace made of dragon bone.  He is remembered as having never taken a prisoner or accepted a surrender of an enemy when he led a force into battle.  He is said to have credited his great size and strength to eating the still-beating hearts of his defeated enemies that he ripped out of their chests with his own hands.   Ughat was the chief of a horde that initially number near 35,000 fighting males, and a near equal number of females and young.  Over the course of two years and a route that took him more than 600 miles, Ughat fought and conquered at least six other large tribal groups in the Arak Mountains.  Orcs that did not join his horde died at his horde's swords.  Ughat seemed particuarly adept at convincing non-Orcs to join his army, as he was known to have as many as 10,000 Ogres and 20,000 Trolls join his army by the time the invasion began.   The invading Orc army can be broken down into several seperate hordes all following the leadership of Ughat.  Lesser hordes were incoporated into the whole, these led by other powerful Orc warlords named Durzuk of the Den Oggudh and Ghamorg of the Ter Gherudh were dangerous and capable horde-lords in their own right, but chose not to contest Ughat's rule (wisely, it is assumed).  There was also a band of Ogres that numbered more than 500 individuals all fighting as a group, and this band became known to the armies allied against Ughat as Red Hands because of the bloody hand print they wore on their chests to denote their association to their unit.
