Commander Sariah Jalara, known as "Rakibab'Amarui" to the Kep'Dhori (literally Windrider in Dil'Kepuni'Dhori), is the esteemed Commander of the Sands of the Desert Guard, defending the Great Desert Governorate. Born into the Orladdi tribe, Sariah defied cultural norms and shattered gender barriers by pursuing a career in the military. Her tenacity, unmatched skills, and unwavering determination quickly earned her respect among her peers and caught the attention of Governor Lucius Aridian.   As a seasoned warrior, Sariah has proven herself in countless battles and skirmishes, exhibiting exceptional prowess in swordsmanship and tactical acumen. Her strategic brilliance and ability to outmanoeuvre adversaries have led to numerous victories for the Desert Guard. Her fellow Orladdi tribespeople, initially hesitant about a woman assuming such a prominent role, have come to appreciate and support Sariah as their own representative in a position of influence.   Though her appointment as Commander of the Sands faced scepticism and scrutiny, Sariah's unwavering dedication to the welfare of the Great Desert Governorate and her unmatched contributions to maintaining peace and order have silenced her detractors. Her partnership with Governor Lucius Aridian has been mutually beneficial, as she has shouldered the burden of maintaining security and order, allowing him to focus on the governance of the province.   While rumours persist that Sariah is merely a puppet manipulated by Governor Aridian, those who have witnessed her exceptional leadership and unwavering resolve know that she is the true driving force behind the success of the Desert Guard. Her ongoing commitment to her post, despite the opportunity to retire with the benefits of Namorian citizenship, is a testament to her unwavering dedication to her people and the protection of the Great Desert Governorate.   Physical Appearance Sariah Windrider possesses a striking and commanding physical presence. As an Orladdi woman, she embodies the unique features of her heritage. Her ebony skin bears the warm tones of the desert sun, while her almond-shaped eyes, adorned with a rich hue of deep amber, exude a fierce determination. Sariah's face carries the subtle tribal markings of her Orladdi ancestry, intricate patterns that symbolize her connection to her people and their traditions.   Saraiah stands tall and lithe. Her raven-black hair, typically braided in intricate styles, adorned with small trinkets and charms that represent her personal victories and tribal heritage.   Sariah's attire blends her Orladdi roots with the functional uniform of the Desert Guard. She wears a mix of lightweight desert fabrics, expertly tailored for mobility and protection from the harsh elements.
