Ravenswood
In the grandeur of Stoze's royal legacy, the emblem of House Ravenswood commands attention—a majestic purple raven with white eyes, entwined in silver vines adorned with thorns, set against a midnight blue backdrop. With the motto "Noctu Bene Valemus" – By Night We Prosper, this ancient house has presided over Stoze's destiny for over five centuries. The purple raven symbolizes the enigmatic wisdom and mystery that shrouds House Ravenswood's enduring rule, navigating the intricate realms of power.
During the days of the Realmswar, House ravenswood under the leadership of Vanesa Ravenswood I filled a power vacuum within Stoze. The war had ravaged the country leaving many without homes, families or food. King Vincent Ormond had been slain by the army of the betrayers after an invasaion of the capital city Ecrosa. This left the nation in a state of chaos and Vanesa Ravenswood siezed the opportunity to lead her army into the capital and recapture it as a show of power. After the victory many of the noble houses of Stozed pledged fealty to the Ravenswoods and a Queen was crowned. Shortly after she decided to expand Stoze in the aftermath of the Realmswar and created a new capital known as Murdershold.
The following generations would see turmoil and perilous times as the ripples of the Realmswar continued to affect the planes of existence even after its conclusion. With many Gods in the pantheon destroyed, people of Stoze and other countries were unsure where to turn for guidance and chaos continued for some time until new gods emerged, nearly 350 years later. Pair this with famines and wars with the neighboring elves over territory amongst other things, and you begin to get a small glimpse of what the Ravenswood family has endured during their rule. No family has been more fit to handle the challenges faced during these times.
For nearly 600 years, House Ravenswood has been the undisputed beacon of Stoze, a kingdom entwined in thorns of power and silver threads of destiny. As rulers of a land steeped in tradition, their emblem stands as a testament to their commitment to navigating the shadows of the night for the welfare of their subjects. The resplendent purple raven heralds a dynasty that thrives in both mystery and majesty, an enduring symbol of Stoze's enduring royal lineage.
