Ordash

Ordash is a small island sitting in the Thraxian sea, between Bandoor and Alvas. It is the home of the half-orcs and goblins, only recently settled, who recieved it as a gift from King Volshek Korosk for their help in the Invasion of Warchief Drebok.   It was largely uninhabited for much of it's history, after having been settled in 524 TC by a dwarven explorer who claimed it in the name of the king at the time. After it had been claimed, the king and the dwarves at large found they had no interest in a small island which was much too hot with no mountains and no ore.   The half-orcs and goblins, however, settled in quickly, and were happy to have their own home, having been displaced and enslaved for so long.   These new inhabitants have only existed on the island for 15 years, and as such, they are still finding their feet in their new home.

Geography

Most of the island is dominated by thick jungle interspersed with ancient ruins - some indicative of their dwarven occupants or whichever denizens where there first.   There is a coast all around the island, and inland the forest is thick and imposing with swampland throughout. Half-orc clans are interposed through the forest in their forts, not regularly congregating in large towns or cities.
The jungle clears slightly towards the south, where a natural bay is the site of the goblin city of Goldack, a bustling port city which exists outside the laws of elves, dwarves or men, thick with all kinds of life that Timor has to offer.

Fauna & Flora

Ordash has spent much of it's history untouched by large scale civilisation, and remains so. As such it has some of the most diverse plant and animal life in Timor, anywhere that people walk through the jungle there is a host of vibrant flowers and plant life on display.
Similarly the jungles are full of animal life, with prey and predators existing in constant flux. As beautiful as it can be, the animal life has been known to cause problems with travellers going across the island.

Natural Resources

The abundancy of plant and animal life make the medicine produced in Ordash in high demand, and the druids of the half-orcs have developed these uses over the years that they have existed. Pelts and light armour have been developed masterfully by the half-orcs as well.   The natural bay that exists in the south of the island, where the city of Goldack is situated, make it an invaluable tactical position in the middle of the sea. It is incredibly difficult to trade in the sea, particularly past the western peninsula with their expensive bark & sap shipments, without passing the island. The bay is very easily defensible, and as such overall the island and Goldack hold a very important part of the world.
This was likely not considered when being gifted by the dwarves, who were unlikely to find themselves on the opposite end of a conflict with their close half orc and goblin allies. The elves, however, were very unhappy about the goblin's new power.
