The Reaper of Demons, Rigel Black is the demigod child of Lady Celes and her beloved, Chen Black.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Rigel is physically fit for a 19 year old male End Settler. He is agile and light on his feet, with a trim build.

Facial Features

Rigel has almond shaped purple eyes, which flash green in the dark.

Special abilities

Due to his tapeta lucidem, Rigel has enhanced night vision.

Apparel & Accessories

Rigel generally wears a green creeper face shirt over black jeans and red high top sneakers. He also sometimes wears finely made iron armor, which bears the sigil of Ses’ser on the helmet.
For accessories, Rigel has a golden bangle around his wrist (to keep Piglins from attacking him on sight, as well as a black choker necklace around his neck which has a minute dragon pendant hanging from it. On his left middle finger is a steel ring with a fake Eye of Ender gemstone set into it. Rigel also wears a pair of red-tinted sunglasses.

Specialized Equipment

Rigel wields his father’s Growing Staff, a magical battlestaff capable of extending and retracting at his will.
His necklace allows him to speak and understand most modern languages, though there is a bit of a delay as the enchantment needs to “learn” new languages.
Rigel’s sunglasses can serve as a “head’s-up display”, which allows him to identify demons, while his ring can open portals and/or seal rifts to the demon realm.

Personal history

Rigel was born to the sorcerer Chen Black and Celes after they fell in love. The boy was raised primarily in the End, recieving home-schooling from a trusted Ender tutor. His first trip to Tinir’s Overworld occured when he was 16 years of age.

Mannerisms

Generally, Rigel is a fairly pleasant kid, quick with a joke and enjoying making quips to demons in combat. Typically he idly spins his staff when bored.
When Rigel gets serious however, his behavior changes and nothing stops him.
