“I can’t see!” Leo cried, trying to clear long black hair from his face. He immediately started to spit it out of his mouth as it caught on his tongue.
“You’ve got a bunch of hair, look at you!” Raph started laughing, now a freckled boy with an undercut hairstyle with red tips.
“Woahhhh! Look at me!” Mikey stood in front of the mirror, admiring his small baby faced self, ruffling fingers through wild, fluffy hair. “Look at you guys!”
“Everything feels so weird!” Donnie, the tallest and most acne ridden of the four, was struggling to keep his balance, arms outstretched to help. “The weight of our shells is gone, and we have five fingers and five toes! Why is everything blurry?”
Raph checked himself out under the hoodie. “And I kept all my muscles! Ha!”
Leo frowned and tugged his own hoodie up and off, turning his back towards the mirror and looking over his shoulder. A nasty scar ran from his shoulder down and across to the center of his back. Tentatively, he reached back and touched it, trembling at the rough feeling.
“Leo,” Mikey said softly.
“It’s fine,” Leo breathed, looking away from the mirror. “I’m fine.”
Synopsis
The
turtles go visit
April so they can test out their new
cloaking brooches. Upon putting them on they are transformed into human versions of themselves, based on how they visualize themselves.
April takes this opportunity to take them out on the town. They go to a mall and shop for real human clothes, they visit a book store, and even a pizzeria. All things they were never able to do before.
