Chosen

The tile "Chosen" is given to certain mortals who are granted special favor by a particular deity. It is considered very rare for most gods to take a Chosen, but, oddly, it is relatively common in the lands of Velnar. The deity of those lands, The Tinavri, seem to invest a chosen every time the last Chosen passes on. The Monastic Order of the Iron Palm was founded to grant some protection to the Chosen of The Tinavri, who are often under attack by the fiends called Rakshasa.
