Monk
When the Kalashtar race fled the Far Realm, they merged with willing Humans from the mountainside monasteries of Dojhan. The resulting new Kalashtar were imbued with the psionics of their home, and they were able to imbue others with it, as well as to teach them their fighting styles. These styles emphasized turning psionic energies inward to attain physical perfection. Powered thusly, the monks of Dojhan learned to turned their bodies into deadly weapons. As the Aberrations of the Far Realm began to manifest in the world, the monks went out to combat them. As a result, when an Adventurer refers to someone as a monk, they aren’t talking about someone who copies manuscripts. They mean a living weapon, imbued with the power of psionics.
