Dirlagraun

Dirlagraun is a displacer beast from the Feywild who is unusually intelligent and able to speak. She works at the Witchlight Carnival at the Lost & Found, taking care of things lost at the Carnival, which includes lost children. She also happily keeps an eye on children to allow single parents to take refreshment.
She has a cub of her own, Star, who disappeared long ago, and she inquires in every world they visit, trying to find her own lost child. When Pietr Blackberry was found wandering lost at the Carnival with no sign of his family, she took him under her wing, and he has considered her his mother ever since.
She is kind, gentle, and loving, one of the most trusted Witchlight Hands at the Carnival, and beloved to everyone. Her mood only darkens when anyone touches the ball-like crystal that is all she has left of Star - it was her favorite toy.
Thanks to the efforts of the Witchlight Court, Star was returned home, and Dirlagraun is happily reunited with both her cubs.
