Jabal

Jabal is a Half-Orc boy who lives in the Free City of Castamir. He was left as a foundling on the steps of the shrine of Shandalene and taken in by the lay priestess Aliya Stormbender. Aliya has raised the boy as her apprentice, and she hopes that he will one day succeed her.

Jabal is scrawny for a half-orc, and his left leg is club-footed. His back is slightly twisted, but he’s not fully hunchbacked. Between his physical issues and the ridicule of local children, Jabal has had difficulty being the peaceful follower of Shandalene that he wishes to be. Time will tell which direction his story goes.
