Aliya Stormbender

Aliya Stormbender is a Stormsoul Genasi who resides in the Free City of Castamir. She is a lay priestess of Shandalene with no actual clerical powers. Despite this, she is the keeper of Shandalene’s shrine, and she uses her knowledge of medicine to aid people as best she can.
Several years ago, she took in the Half-Orc foundling Jabal, and she has cared for the boy ever since. He is devoted to her, and she hopes he will someday succeed her as the keeper of the shrine.
She and her shrine were entrusted with the Cup and Talisman of Al'Akbar by Brother Natharios. Now the shrine is guarded by the Angel Manakel, and pilgrims are guided here by various circumstances, leading Aliya to be busier than she has been in years.
