Keshwan Overview

Keshwan is a continent to the south and east of Aldorath across the Bright Sea. It was once much larger than it currently is, but the events of the War of Ashes, particularly The Rending, destroyed much of its northern and western portions, all but obliterating the Human kingdom of Falwyth and turning much of the rest of the continent to desert. The continent is now dominated by the lands known as the Desolation of Azmartheon, once a mighty Dragonborn empire, now largely uninhabited by civilized folk. Many tales tell of terrible monsters there, guarding ancient treasures of Falwyth and Azmartheon. Of the glorious Empire that once ruled the continent, only the squabbling city-states of Bedourin and the Minotaur-ruled lands of Minostal remain largely untouched by or recovered from the devastation.
