Universitas Tarmoore

 

The Universitas Tarmoore is an institution of higher learning located in Estwald. The school was commissioned in 701 SKR by Varwyn Tarmoore, who never lived to see its completion. The school building was completed in 726 SKR, due to delays in building during the Second Witching War. Classes in natural philosophy were offered before the end of that year.

The school offers multiple foreign language and culture courses, as well as classes in mathematics, natural philosophy, arcane sciences, history, art, music, theater, and other subjects. Its library and museum contain books and treasures from all over Tol Overview. It is considered to be one of the finest schools in all of Aldorath if not Tol itself. As a gift, the Elves nation of Faerinwold presented a rare Weeping Dannor on the 1,000th anniversary of the Battle of the Burning Sea to the king of Summerlund. The king then honored the Universitas by having the tree planted in their extensive gardens.
