Draconic Pantheon

The Draconic Pantheon consists of the most important religious deity among dragons in Toriel. The dragon god are often old enough to be worshiped by various races among Toriel, but dragons tends to not be the most religious. The pantheon regroups the various dragon-gods. Each god tends to possess its own worshiper, and its own cult and religion. With how important some of those gods are, they are worshiped among Toriel by various races and have temples and wayshrines dedicated to them all over Toriel.

Pantheon

Dragons have a hierarchy among their gods, even if many do not spend time worshipping the dragon gods, they respect them.

The three genitors

Dragons see Bahamut, Sardior, and Tiamat as the original gods, creators, and genitors of their species.

The heirs

Below the three genitors, are the heirs, rare dragons who were chosen by previous gods to carry their divinity. Those dragons are:

Divinity holders

Lastly, are the dragon who ascended to godhood through various mean, and are now gods. They are barely considered divine by other dragons, tho they are respected as powerful dragons.

Popular opinion and worship

The Draconic Pantheon, just like any pantheon, keeps on evolving, the gods' conflicts and the other dragon achievement changing the list of divine more often than the gods are willing to admit. Certain god grew stronger as their influence started to spread when other almost disappeared.   Dragons respect those of them that managed to access godhood, but rarely pray them or worship them, they see them as wise and elder advisors rather than gods. Dragon, due to their ancient nature, pay as much homage to the dragon-gods as they do to ancients spirits.

History

The Dragons are an ancient race of powerful reptilian creatures. Born into this world during its creation, the Dragons are said to have shaped the world for the other races to inhabit. Each Dragon type to emerge represented one element; ranging from metals and gems to fire and frost. The Giants came next, shaping the land in finer detail, often changing what the Dragons had formed. This is thought to be the source of the fierce animosity between the two races.
