Popular opinion and worship

Fire giant often worship Thrym, twin of the fire giant god Surtur, ever since his death by the hand of Athazor.   Worshiping any non-giant deity, is considered a great sin against the giants. Being discovered means being cast out from family and clan. Like humans, some giants even fall prey to demon cults, in which they pay homage to a demon lord such as Baphomet.

History

In the creation mythos of the giants, an entity known as the All-Father is credited with the formation of the world. To assist him in this monumental task, he birthed six sons, the giant gods, who wielded their immense power to shape the world according to their vision. These six giant gods designed the giants to be the masters of the world, endowing them with towering height so they could peer down upon all they ruled.   The giant gods placed the first giants upon the world. These giants were not only reflections of their creators but also offspring of the world itself, born from the marrow of mountains, the searing blood of volcanoes, and the tempestuous breath of hurricanes.   According to ancient scripture, the giant kin formed the continents. Fire Giants directed the flow of molten rock, Stone Giants sculpted the solidified rock, and Storm Giants meticulously polished the lands through erosion.   Subsequently, the dragons emerged, intricately shaping the land with meticulous detail, often altering the formations crafted by the giants. This disparity in their creative endeavors is believed to be the primary source of the intense animosity between the two races.
