The Vermillion Birds

The Vermillion Birds are a house within Akademeia. Students from The Axomar Alliance of Architecture, Industry, and Inquiry are placed within this house for the duration of their studies.
The island on which the house stands features a volcano at its heart. The remainder of the island is filled to the brim with large aether crystal formations. How these giant formations came to be is unknown. However, crystals aspected to every kind of aether can be found here. The result is an island that looks like a rainbow of crystals with small rivers of fire winding their way between them. The buildings that make up the campus are nestled between these crystals. Students travel to and from the island via ferry.
