Stone Gallery
(Re)discovered by Orryn Steelfist this cave boasts an incredible display of light and magic.
Geography
Located in the mountains south of Fushmyr this series of caverns is accessible through a single tunnel. The tunnel itself is difficult to find, hidden behind large stones halfway up a cliff.
The tunnel slopes downwards and the floor has been worn smooth by water, which can make it slippery when it rains. The tunnel leads down to a small cave which is usually half submerged. Another tunnel leads out of this cave to the north. While also part submerged there is usually enough clearance for a small boat to make it's way along the tunnel.
Deeper in the tunnel open into a series 4 large caverns. Each cavern is filled with crystals of varying sizes and colours. Light is carried down from above through veins of these crystals and the caverns are filled with a constantly shifting pattern of shapes and colours during the day time. New patterns can be created by bringing in additional light sources and moving them around the cavern so that the light is focused, split, and reflected.
Water dripping down from above plays an unceasing tune as it each drop triggers vibrations on the crystals that echo through the caves. Flicking a crystal can be enough to start a whole new tune and many famous composers have cited the Gallery as their inspiration.
