Ancola Forest

Ancola Forest is a dense and ancient seasonal forest located in the heart of the Salvae Empire, just west of Torrin. The forest is known for its tall, ancient trees that tower high into the sky, their thick leaves rustling in the wind with areas of the forest's canopy so dense that it blocks out much of the sunlight, creating a shadowy and mysterious environment. The forest floor is covered in a thick layer of moss and ferns, making it a treacherous place for travelers who are not familiar with the land. The forest is home to a wide variety of wildlife, from the elusive deer and wild boar to the more dangerous bears and wolves. The forest is also known for its population of giant elk, which are considered a prize for any hunter brave enough to take them on. The forest is also home to a variety of magical creatures, such as unicorns, and faeries, which are said to live deep in the heart of the forest at Ancola Grove where the barriers between the Material Plane and the Feywild tend to intertwine the strongest and the winds of wild magic ebb and flow.
