Gorge of Storms
In the southern-most range of the Twin-tail Peaks in the Raja'ri Territories north of Lake Oban is the mountain pass, the Gorge of Storms.
True to its name, the gorge is plagued with pop-up storms and its high and isolated peaks attracting lightning and tempest winds, while wild beasts occupy the caverns, caves, and the peaks of the pass and surrounding mountains. Even though the roads that cut through the Raja'ri are viewed as safer than traversing the wilderness, but not by much. Hence, it becomes a balancing act of costs and benefits as the gorge itself is dangerous and difficult to traverse because of the adverse weather, but it is faster to stay on the roads rather than trying to traverse the hospitable landscapes to reach Karackas despite the roads adding miles to many journeys.
