Strait of Telemai (Tell-eh-my)

The Strait of Telemai is a narrow waterway that connects heart of the Raja'ri Territories to the wider world. The strait is a crucial point of defense for the people of the Raja'ri, serving as a natural chokepoint for naval invaders. The strait is approximately 15 miles wide and 50 miles long, and it is located between the Torrose and the Turquoise Bay.   As ships navigate the strait, they are met with the powerful currents and unpredictable weather that make it a challenging passage. The waves crash against the cliffs that line the strait, sending sprays of salt water into the air. The sound of the waves, the cries of seabirds, and the scent of the sea fill the senses of those who pass through.   But the true defense of the strait lies beneath the surface of the water. The Raja'ri have built a formidable barrier, the Wall of the Sun, a steel-cage wall that is hidden beneath the waters of the strait and can be set alight. This wall serves as a barrier, preventing invaders from penetrating the Turquoise Bay and reaching the heart of Raja'ri Territories, Karackas.   As ships pass through the Strait of Telemai, they are not only navigating a physical passage but also a passage steeped in history, culture, and tradition. The Strait of Telemai is a vital waterway for the people of Karackas, it serves as a natural barrier, a source of resources, and a symbol of the strength and resilience of the Raja'ri people.
