Nymph
Nymphs live in the Great Forest. They do not have a town or city that they congregate in, but rather can be found throughout the entirety of the Great Forest (with exception of the Fairy Density and the Elven Kingdom).
Nymphs are either Dryads (sentient trees) or Naiads (sentient bodies of water). Both sub-races take on the forms of the flora within their birth vicinity (though one is land-based and the other water-based).
A few of them quite like playing with poisons (e.g. Hoen).
Nymphs teach their children through stories and oral traditions. Albeit unreliably narrated stories, particularly on the side of the Naiads, who often will change a character or setting for no substantial reason reason other than they 'felt like it', 'don't like Elves today' or 'this would be cooler'. Pity the poor KLO who has to sift through all these stories to find the seeds of truth buried within them.
Once upon a time, Elves thought to help their forest companions 'grow up' and gave them the tools to record potentially significant historical events. This resulted in three things:
1. Elves chose not to leave Nymphs alone in the world with important tasks. This consolidated the position of Nymphs (as a race) as the 'children of the world' and are to be protected, rather than taught.
2. There are sections of history, and the research of history that don't necessarily make much sense. For example, the Magic War 5 is assumed to have been either written or altered by Nymphs.
3. Naiads of the Depths continued to record and research. Thus, their current secret city could be sid to be seeded by Elves.
