Mordred Pendragon
Sir Mordred Pendragon (a.k.a. Knight of Treachery)
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Mordred, when not wearing armor, has a relatively small frame. She is quite lean with decent muscle mass and her blonde hair is usually tied back.
Special abilities
Mordred's Noble Phantasm is Clarent Blood Arthur. Upon activation, Mordred begins to charge Clarent with intense amounts of magical energy. After calling out the name of the sword and the father, she releases all of the magical energy in a giant beam of energy. This NP is similar to Artoria Pendragon's Noble Phantasm. In order for this ability to be fully released, Mordred's helmet must be removed.
Apparel & Accessories
Outside of combat, Mordred tends to wear relatively standard clothing. This includes a dark-red tunic, brown slacks, and a black cloak. In combat, she wears a stylized set of plate armor. This armor completely covers her body, with her helmet in particularly completely obscuring her face, protecting her true identity.
Specialized Equipment
Mordred's main weapon is her sword known as Clarent. Clarent is a greatsword that Mordred ended up stealing during the rise of the rebellion. Clarent would eventually be used in the final fight against her father.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Mordred Pendragon's upbringing and life can mainly be described as cursed in multiple ways. Mordred was a bastard child that was born from King Arthur's sister, Morgan le Fay, after a series of rather mind-boggling events. From birth, Mordred was meant to be King Arthur's heir. She would eventually, after living a secret life for most of her childhood, be knighted and join her father in the legendary Round Table.
As time went on, Mordred started to have a sense of rejection and ostracization from her supposed fellow knights and even by her own father. She blamed the fact that she was a bastard child and a product of rather taboo events. This resentment soon become blatant hatred for the Round Table and King Arthur herself. Mordred eventually became the leader of a rebellion group, hoping to overtake her father's place as king. This civil unrest escalated to a civil war and eventually, Mordred came face-to-face against her father. Single combat ensued and eventually, Mordred was impaled with a lance. In her last seconds of life though, she swung her sword one final time, delivering a crushing blow against King Arthur. The battle would eventually come to an end when both would succumb to their injuries.
Sometime later on Tynaria Alt, Mordred's soul would remanifest itself as a saber-class servant to fight in the Holy Grail War. She was summoned as one of the representative servants for Seredena Nation in the 2nd Grail War. After some time of fighting, she managed to lead Seredena Nation to victory. When the Holy Grail arrived in Sordera City, Mordred was granted a supposed "lesser wish." She wished to have her father truly accept her as a proper heir and son. After the wish, Mordred was desummoned by the Holy Grail.
Far later in the year of 640, the Gaia-Stella Organization working at Osservatoria Primaria began working on a smaller-scale teleportation sigil to send smaller packages to the Defenders traveling through singularities. One of the envoys of GS managed to acquire an artifact from Seredena. It was a piece of helmet with a large, unnatural horn sticking out of it. After some determining, they realized that this wasn't just some artifact, but rather a catalyst that can be used to summon a servant. After successfully sending the chunk of helmet through the sigil, the team's summoner used it in a summoning ritual, calling forth Mordred Pendragon once again. But something was odd. This Mordred had a violent and cynical nature attached to her. She practically never took off her helmet and was overall much more self-serving than she was supposedly known for. Due to the helmet, both the party and her master were unable to initially identify her for who she was. It would only until she revealed her Noble Phantasm that her true identity would be revealed.
Gender Identity
Mordred was biologically born as a female. However, her mother raised her to be more masculine, in hopes to have a place in the Round Table. Since her death and resummoning, she has the habit of dressing pretty androgynously and having a tomboyish attitude. With the exception of being acknowledged as female, Mordred generally despises and avoids discussion of her sex or gender, as it reminds her too much of her tragic past life. Calling her terms like "lady, little girl, or miss" is an invitation for her to put her sword against one's neck.
Mental Trauma
Mordred's upbringing, ostracization, and eventual rebellion have brought upon a lot of trauma and unpleasant memories onto her. She tries her best to fight/repress these memories, but they do occasionally get to her in dire situations.
