History

The Gaia-Stella Organization was fully established in 575 as an international coalition of mages and intellectuals. The organization's purpose was to form an intellectual group that could further the world's knowledge for magic and worldly knowledge. Magic in particular was something that they thought could benefit the world as a whole if it was researched and known more of by the masses.   In the year 625, 25 years after the climax of the 6th Holy Grail War of 600, the GSO discovered a strange anomaly in the shared border of Lekrone and Bukatelia. There was a particular area near the Lekronese mountain that was exhibiting intense amounts of magical energy. It was soon concluded that it was a tear in the weave that connected the material world to some other dimension. This dimension wasn't like anything they've heard of before with their knowledge of cosmology. They eventually concluded that this rip led to an entire universe or even timeline. Because of how extensive this rip was, they feared that planar domino-effect could potentially lead to a world-ending catastrophe. They needed to act fast, especially with the advancement of divination magic.   15 years later, the laboratory known as Osservatoria Primaria was fully built. Within the laboratory are many magical artifacts and books. However, their most important asset of all would be their special Portal Room, the product of their Trans-Planar Portal Project that was built over the first location of the tear in the weave. This portal room would be used for extraplanar travel, specifically to make sure that whatever might've happened on the other side is rectified so that a cataclysm doesn't occur. However, being well-read intellectuals doesn't necessarily mean great adventuring abilities. They needed some more qualified individuals to traverse through the portal. In the spring of 640, the GSO's Osservatoria Primaria sent a request to individuals all over the world to embark a never-before-seen journey across the planes.
