A veteran of the Divine Legion and the top of his class in his cleric seminary, Fabian has risen up to be the exemplar of faith in the Theocracy. After losing both of his legionnaire parents to death by hypothermia in The Edge, Fabian dedicated his study to sunlight magics. By the age of 16 he earned the favor of the sun god, Paska, as a master cleric. By the age of 23 he had earned the favor of the rival sun god, Lazara, and maintained the favor of Paska, providing Fabian with access to an immense amount of sunlight spells and miracles. Having and maintaining the favor of two rival gods is unheard of in this age. He used his divine connections to form an artificial sun in Pergamon, where rotating clerics maintain the star and utilize its energy for prophecy, defense, and city-wide heat. Expectant parents are wished that their child may grow up to be like Fabian and the citizens of Pergamon have already begun erecting statues in his honor. Despite his charm and good looks, Fabian outwardly proclaims a vow of chastity and has no formal relations, though rumors have spread that Fabian has clandestine social interests.
