As a scholar of war, he manages the league's defensive strategies with an unwavering focus on the safety and well-being of his people. While his stern and severe countenance can be intimidating, it's a reflection of his uncompromising dedication to his responsibilities. Renowned for his short temper, his outbursts against fellow members of the August Body became legendary, with some of his rants having morphed into folk-insults used by the locals. It's not uncommon to hear someone admonish a slacking friend with the words, "Erebus would be disappointed in you." Although Erebus is a prominent figure within the league, he prefers to keep a low profile in public life, reserving his appearances for state functions and official duties. The only exception to this is his weekly visit to the temple with his wife and two sons, where he takes time to reflect and pray for the well-being of his people. Under Erebus's leadership, The Voladrian League has enjoyed a period of relative peace and stability. His strong hand in managing the league's defense has deterred potential aggressors, and his focus on the betterment of his people has resulted in improved living standards across the league's city-states. While his methods may be stern, his commitment to the safety and prosperity of his people has earned him the respect and admiration of many in The Voladrian League, though his absolute focus on war has lead to some questions on the reliance of Vol on having an ever-present military-industrial complex.
