Emer Mor Emer, Emer the Boatwoman

Emer Mor Emer is a Celtic merchant whose base of operations is Glan Elin.   Emer is skilled warrior proficient with the spear, short sword, javelin and dagger, and has scars on arms and neck from war wounds. None of the scars are on her back, and she claims to have never stood down or failed to kill any orc she encountered in battle.   She is a good boater, speaks both Celtic and Fultonian, and has a decent head for evaluating the value of standard merchandise. Emer is often conservative in taking risks with her goods and, especially, the lives of those that are under her care.   Emer travels up and down the Kozar River between Glan Elin and Bondar and Buntar, stopping and trading in the hamlets in between, including Caernarfon and Ponciau. She is well respected in the Celtic town of Bondar, and generally stays at the Bluebell Coaching Inn.   Emer's sister, Ciara Mor Emer, is the leader of Glan Elin, who shares power with Emer, when Emer resides at home. Emer's daughter is Enid Ni Cuhail, who has recently begin to join her mother in merchant trips. Enid's father, Cuhail, left both his wife and daughter to become a sailor on a merchant ship of the Gildam Confederacy. He returns occasionally to his home in the Celtic lands, but receives a frosty welcome from his wife, who has moved on.   Emer's current boaters are Sinead Ni Tiar (short, strong, broad shoulders, red hair) and Aiden Mac Cuhalin (tall, black hair with an Adam’s apple).   Emer provided safe passage the Party of adventurers on the journey south to Bondar and Buntar in Gwenus' Crannog and Down the Kozar River: Game 2, Arrival at Fairy Island: Game 3, Fairy Rescue: Game 4 and Isle's Destruction and Arrival into Civilization: Game 5.
