Siren's Doom
Apperence
Similar to all Serpent Class ships, Siren's doom is a long narrow two-mast ship. It is however slightly smaller, obviously made for movability. It also only has a single forward-facing Balister, though this is double slotted for more firepower. Several runes cover the top deck protecting the ship's crew from mind-altering magic. Though the appearance has changed over the years, it has always had a woman as a figurehead. Said to be originally dark wood with a beautiful elf as a figurehead, the ship is most known for its appearance under Metis. Its hull is now a bone-white sickly color and the figurehead resembles more of a banshee.History
Creation and Bronze coast operations.
Built-in 691 Chroma, out of Shadows port's shipyards, Siren's doom was originally a trade ship between the silent lake and Sepa academy. The runes protected it as it passed Siren's Cove, while its enchanted figurehead lit the way, even though the worst storms. Though this did not last as by 670 Chroma the ship had been captured by smugglers. These smugglers, realizing the potential set up operation out of the Bronze coast, this crew raided out of the Bronze coast for a few decades even, rumor has it, capturing the fang of Jam-Jam During. The Smugglers vanished in 750 Chroma, only for Siren's doom to appear a few years later off the coast of Sardia, the enchanted figurehead missing.Cursed ship
Taken over by pirates, Siren's doom was repaired and the figurehead was replaced with a siren. These pirates raided around the gem sea but always seemed to disappear suddenly every few years. The first crew disappeared off the Isle of the lost, the ship was found covered in webs. A second tried to bluff their way into the Silent lake only for a robbed merchant to recognize the captain as it passed through Shadow's port. A Merchant that took over the ship found himself suffering a mutiny in sight of Azurei, letting the ship be overrun by Naga, who in turn sailed too close to the bronze coast, and were attacked by Sirens. Several other stories circulated around this period about the fates of other crews. leading it to collect dust on Sadia's coast. In 980 chroma Gilda 'Rum Lover' Hades took over the ship, though she wasn't exactly stopped. Planning on returning it to glory, she set out to raid a trade fleet in the emerald isles. As she set up an ambush a thick fog rolled in followed by large explosions. A battered and broken ship floated into Voidcape with only a single crewman alive. He lived just long enough to recount the tale of the ghost ship's return before dying himself.Under Metis
Metis took over the ship from the owner, who was using it as a shop, in 2 Fey. He repaired and refurbished the ship before launching raids throughout the seas. Leaving no survivors, some people started calling it the ship of the damned due to its new look and the pale, blueish-skinned crew, some sailors claim to be from ships attacked. Metis launched an attack on Shadow's port in 4 Fey, only escaping with Siren's doom itself. In 5 Fey it picked up a group of adventurers who had just raided the Ilithid library. Shortly after an encounter with the Cult of the Deep led the ship to Sink Atoll to investigate. the adventurers left the atoll ablaze. The ship once again went missing after visiting Lacertillia In 122 Fey it reappeared at the Battle of Voidcape, where after Metis was 'killed', the ship itself was destroyed by Zezhaunth's breath.
