Body Features
He is fat. It’s not big-boned, he has accepted that. He is not slightly overweight; it's considerable enough that it reduces his walking speed. However, despite this extra weight he has a nimbleness. He can move through the space of any creature that is size large.

Deception and Persuasion; he has a talent for getting people to think and believe what he wants them to. He knows how to play the saxophone and on a rare occasion will bring it out, but for the most part it is something that he knows because he was expected to learn it.

Personal history
Both his parents are still alive: Charles and Patricia Flydwight. The Flydwight family is rich and powerful. He is the heir to that dynasty and he cannot wait until it is all fully his. He has considered having his parents killed so that he can have it sooner, but thus far hasn't felt that it was worth the risk. Yet, they do seem to plan on living forever.
He has 3 siblings (all younger than him): Kevin, Marian and Chrystal. He is not close with any of them. They cannot be trusted. After all, they would have to kill him if they were to obtain the family's birthrights. He had no intentions of being fooled into believing that sibling love could some how protect him from their greed.
Friendship: Draco
He owed Draco a favor which is why he helped him establish the Shadow Investigations Unit. Turned out That they two both like the same things: Power and Money. The debt has long since been paid but they still consider themselves more then just business allies.
Friendship: David Flydwight
He reconnected with with his uncle. At first, he didn't trust him, believing that David was only looking to use him as a way to take control of the family's Estate when Charles Sr. dies. But over time, Charles Jr. has decided that his Uncle is a little crazy and is actually just interested in learning more about the Shadow Kind.
Windfall: Wealth
He has come into money in his own right. His own business efforts have been fruitful and he has earned a large sum, enough that he really no longer needs the Family Estate. But he still wants it. It's the principle of getting what is owed to you.
Romance: First Love
His first love didn't really work out. He fell for a boy, Jack, he met in college. In the end, Jack was a terrorist that was trying to bring down the government.
Tragedy: Death of a Loved One
Jack was assassinated by the government. While the loss hurt Charles deeply, he understood the need for Jack's death. The boy had been stupid and allowed himself to be misled.
Romance: The Marriage
He married Roger Standish who is also from a powerful family. They don't love each other and never pretended to. They married as a means to gather their power and wealth. This marriage has allowed him to learn much about The Heirs of Kyuss and the Families of Kyuss. Afterall, he is one of them now, by marriage.
Romance: The Lover
Jared Stewart is a nobody, but Charles still loves him. Charles takes good care of him and hides him carefully so that his enemies cannot use him. Charles considers Jared the one good thing that life has given him. They have been together longer then Charles has been married. While Roger is aware that Charles has a lover, he doesn't know who that lover is or any details about him. Charles returns the favor and makes sure he doesn't pry into Roger's affairs.
Windfall: Personal Treasure
Before Jack died, he gave Charles a strange onyx figure. Charles is certain that there is something special about it. He can feel it warm in his hand and it is almost as though it would move if only given the right command. Charles has spent many years trying to unlock the mystery of the small carving, but thus far everyone he has taken it to has failed to recognized it for the magical treasure that it is. So, he has kept it.

Charles Flydwight owed the Draco family a favor for having lent him money which is why he helped Franz Draco establish the Shadow Investigations Unit. Turned out That they both like the same things: Power and Money. The debt has long since been paid but they still consider themselves more then just business allies.

He had the misfortune of meeting Charles Flydwight. At the time, he didn’t know who he was and as usual, he was running his mouth. This led him to saying something that offended Charles and instead of apologizing, Millard taunted him about it. Honestly, he’s surprised that he has a job. It is a testimony to how much Sanford wants him on his team.

He was born into privilege. His family has had money for numerous generations. All his life, if he wanted something, he generally gets it, regardless of the cost or difficulty. He is someone that has always gotten what he has wanted and assumes that he always will. He has enough money that even he isn't sure how much he is really worth.
