The Battle of Bazdarún also known as The Battle of Bandar Bazan hu'un Bahr commonly translated as "Port fire-from-sea" took place in the straits of the Thrakiot Archepelago, near the volcanic Bhorgaan Island, off the southeast of the city of Ternosear, on 13 Elasis 27 PC. A Fiergish fleet led by the Gorogan-Class warship "Ironfist" was dispatched trough the archepelago to begin the Fiergish invasion of Thrakos, with the objective of seizing the Durish port of Z'ar Rilark, sinking the JKD Silent Livyatan anchored there and capturing the leader of the clanhold,their government and kin. The fleet was engaged in the strait by Salicar-kázdar Fortress, an aging coastal installation near Bazdarún, as small port on a volcanic island, that had been relegated to training coastal artillery servicemen, leading the Fiergish to disregard its defensive value. However, unbeknownst to Fiergish military intelligence, the fortress' most powerful weapon was a Tempestcharge Siegebolter battery, which would be used to great effect against the Fiergish invaders.   The fortress' armaments worked flawlessly despite their age, sinking the Ironfist in the deep.
