Fetr'andt

Fetr'andt is a province of the Kanflu Empire at the mouth of the Great Father. One of the wealthiest regions of the empire, the various city-states of Fetr'andt were long-time rivals of Kanflu and fought a series of bitter wars before being incorporated into the empire.

Structure

The province is sub-divided into three regions, named after the main cities:

1. Wijt, containing the largest and most populated island
2. Minrik, containing the two sparsely inhabited central islands
3. T'omba, containing the eastern mainland

The province as a whole is ruled by a governor who resides in Wijt.
The mainland to the south and west is not part of the province of Fetr'andt because its main city of Lavnil sided with the invaders during the conquest of the delta.

History

The region was home to several city states who grew wealthy on trade. They fought several bitter wars against the rising power of Kanflu upstream and eventually lost and were incorporated into the empire.
The territories of the various city states was then combined together to form the province of Fetr'andt.
