Eetha Domm
Eetha Domm was a Bajoran miner.
Eetha was born into an impoverished mining colony from Heraklion, a rural district on Bajor specializing in resource extraction. The Cardassian Union opened up numerous forced labor camps and many prisoners were relocated to the area during their occupation. In 2369 the Cardassians left Bajor but Heraklion continued to struggle economically as many of the miners had their properties siezed or destroyed during the occupation and due to their remote and rural status they were often last in line for aid and recovery operations. In 2372 the Lamerck Mining Corporation opened up operations in the area exchanging economic aid for control of the mines.
Eetha started working in the Heraklion mines when he was forced to by the Cardassians and continued to work after Bajor's freedom. When Lamerck began buying up all the mines and making offers to the miners, Eetha refused choosing instead to remain independent. He continued to struggle and by 2376 was on the verge of losing his mining license as he was not meeting production quotas.
In 2374 he was engaged to Onjald Nilka however she broke off their engagement in 2376 when she was hired by Jaro Essa as his personal secretary. When Jaro and Onjald visited Deep Space 9, Eetha boarded the station to confront them and help Onjald escape from Jaro. Eetha and Jaro got into a fight and Eetha was injured.
Due to his prior romantic involvement with Onjald and the altercation he had with Jaro he was briefly a suspect in Jaro's murder however an investigation determined that it was actually Krate Xordea that had killed Jaro.
In 2377 Onjald and Eetha were married and had moved back to Heraklion. Eetha has since begun contracting with Lamerck.
