In the great underground of Mount Golog lies the great dwarven city of Deep Golog. This city houses the eclectic clans collectively known as Gologian dwarves.
These dwarves are similar in size and temperament to a mountain dwarf, but have lived in Deep Golog for so long their cultures have diverged. They sport a unique hairstyle: depending on the clan they owe allegiance, they shave one side of their head clean. Left is for one, right for the other. The clans are at peace, so it is more an identifying feature. They also wear gold or silver bands on their fingers or clamps in their hair and beards.
The miners bicker the most, but nothing several rounds after a long dig won't fix. The merchants agree on almost everything, counting business as their common language. The upper crust are more taciturn, keeping to themselves in their carved castles and great houses.
The military-turned-guard have kept watch over the city for several generations. They don't feel the need to field an army when most are agreeable that enter. In fact, more of their threats come from blocked or dangerous roads than some mad ruler attempting to dislodge them. The only fear they have is the balewind obstructing their entrances or crashing their prized entrance. Several prayers to Melora and Moradin keep things tidy here.
