Hafrek Sea
The Hafrek Sea, located to the north of Östan Sunnan, is a formidable and largely unexplored expanse known for its wild and untamed waters. The coastline features rugged, towering cliffs and pebbled beaches sculpted by the relentless sea into a dramatic and forbidding landscape. The region's harsh, freezing climate, with cold winds from the north bringing frigid temperatures and dense mists, contributes to the sea's unpredictable and often dangerous conditions. Winters are eternal, with the sea frequently ice-bound.
Human interaction with the Hafrek Sea is minimal and primarily limited to adventurers who brave its treacherous waters. The sea is notorious for its storms, making it a place few captains wish to cross. Most sailors prefer to stay close to the coast to seek shelter from the waves and winds if needed, or at least have a chance to save themselves and their crew. The rich but undocumented marine life and inaccessible cliffs home to various seabirds add to the sense of uncharted wilderness. This mystery and danger enshroud the Hafrek Sea, making it a testament to the unexplored and untamed nature of this part of Väruld.
